Top in European spalted maple. Our tops are in 3 categories Extra (Very limited) First and second choice. Thickness around 7/9mm. The quality may depend on the intensity of the figuration and/or marbling. All our tops generally they are not rotten, but only attacked by fungi and then finished with a passage in an oven, to avoid the proliferation of external agents that would compromise the structure of the wood.
